Metallica shared video of 2 songs. One is of their 1983 classic, “Whiplash.” The other is a performance of the title track to their album, 72 Seasons. It was recorded at the State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, earlier this month.
About “72 Seasons”, James Hetfield said, “The first 18 years of our lives that form our true or false selves. The concept that we were told 'who we are' by our parents. Much of our adult experience is re-enactment or reaction to these childhood experiences. Prisoners of childhood or breaking free of those bondages we carry.”
Both songs can be found on their social media pages.
