Warner Bros. is developing a sequel to the 1998 film Practical Magic, which starred Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman as witch sisters battling a family curse in order to find love. Both actresses are expected to return, and will also serve as producers on the project. Akiva Goldsman is onboard to write the screenplay. The original film is based on a 1995 novel by Alice Hoffman, and the author has since written two additional prequel novels about the Owens family. However, the sequel will continue the story established in the original film. Practical Magic is currently streaming on Max. (ET)
