Bond Issue Proposed to Build Multi-Sports for Albuquerque

Mayor Tim Keller and New Mexico United owner Pete Trevisani have announced plans to present a bond issue to the Albuquerque City Council next week. The funding measure is for a multi-purpose venue for sporting events and concerts. If the council approves it, it could go before voters this November. The project would cost between 65-and-85 million dollars, aside from purchasing the land.
