Flags To Fly At Half-Staff In Honor Of Las Cruces Soldier

A soldier from Las Cruces who was killed in action in Afghanistan earlier this month is being honored in the state of New Mexico. Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham ordered that all U.S. and state flags fly at half-staff until sunset today in remembrance of Sergeant First Class Antonio Rey Rodriguez. Rodriguez and fellow Sergeant First Class Javier Jaguar Gutierrez were shot and killed on February Eighth. The funeral for Rodriguez is today at noon at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cathedral.
