Las Cruces Animal Control to Focus Attention on High Priority Calls.

Las Cruces Animal Control, part of the Las Cruces Police Department, will maintain operations during the current public health emergency but will focus primary attention to calls deemed high priority. Calls considered to be high priority for Animal Control officers include calls such vicious or dangerous animal complaints, animal cruelty and animal bites. The following calls will be suspended until further notice, Owner release of healthy animals unless they pose a threat to the owner or public. Issuing of City-owned animal traps.
