Las Cruces Mayor working to help bring home Las Cruces Women’s Football Players and Coaches.

Six Members of the La Muerte Football Team from right here in Las Cruces who are stuck in Honduras during a recent visit this past weekend to that Country for a USA Tackle Woman’s Football Tournament might be able to make it home soon. Thanks to Las Cruces Mayor Ken Miyagashima and US State Department, the 50 plus US Citizens from all over the country who participated in the tournament are awaiting word if they can leave in the next few days. The players and coaches got stuck this past weekend, because Honduras closed its borders and doesn’t allow travel in or out of the country due to COVID-19 Quarantine. The Mayor has a friend who is willing to help as he explains.
