New Mexico is re-enacting public health restrictions to combat a recent spike in coronavirus cases. Beginning Monday, Governor Michelle Grisham’s executive order will prohibit indoor dining at restaurants and breweries, with outdoor seating at 50-percent capacity permitted. Out-of-state visitors are restricted from state parks as guests must demonstrate proof of residency. New Mexico is also ramping up its mask mandate and requiring people to wear face coverings at all gyms and fitness centers. The state’s virus case count over the last two weeks represents over 20-percent of its total infections.
