Six People Killed in Three Separate Albuquerque Shootings

Albuquerque police say six people were killed in separate shootings in the city.

Officers responded shortly after 9 p.m. to a call of shots fired at 1028 Lura Place. Three people were found dead and a fourth died at the hospital while two others suffered injuries that were not life threatening. Officers received two more calls about shots fired, one leading officers to the Rio Volcan Apartments where two people later died at the hospital while two others were injured. While the other call led officers to the Casa Bonita Apartments to find a man that was shot in the neck after confronting a couple that robbed a neighbor’s apartment.
