Suspect in 2018 Thanksgiving Day Murder Gets Life in Prison

A man convicted of killing a father and son on Thanksgiving Day 2018 will spend the rest of his life in prison. Jason Gibson pled guilty to capital murder, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery yesterday to avoid the death penalty. Officials said Gibson fatally shot 58-year-old Juan Salas and 24-year-old Jonathan Salas after breaking into their home on Signal Peak Place.
