Police say the suspect in the fatal hit-and-run that killed the Reverend Graham Golden last month has turned himself in. The popular priest was killed May 21st when the car he was driving was hit as he was leaving the Santa Maria de la Vid Abbey on Coors Southwest. Police say the suspect, identified as 22-year-old Manuel Soria, and two other vehicles were apparently racing when one of them collided with Golden’s car. Police say Soria was apparently traveling at least 91 miles an hour when the accident occurred. Soria turned himself in Tuesday night and made his first virtual courtroom appearance yesterday. He’ll remain in jail until his case is transferred to District Court.
