Two El Paso Gatherings Tied to 12 Coronavirus Cases

Mayor Dee Margo says a dozen of El Paso’s COVID-19 cases can be traced to two separate gatherings that happened within the last week. The mayor says five people in one group were positive cases, and seven tested positive in the other group. Mayor Margo says at-home gatherings are still not permitted while the Stay Home, Work Safe order is in effect, including gatherings of family members who do not live in the home. Violating the order could result in a fine up to a thousand dollars and jail time.
